The AAC offers Certified Health and Safety Management System Auditor (CHSMSA) designation. This designation requires candidates to meet criteria in 4 categories: formal education; formal training; work experience and audit experience (refer to AAC website for details). The CHSMSA designation is one of the requirements that provincial governments are considering for future COR audits. AAC has been requested to provide formal training for health and safety auditors (including but not limited to COR auditors). The training will focus on understanding the requirements of the two principle standards ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems – Requirements with Guidance for Use and ISO 19011 Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems. The course will focus on both theory and practical application. The course is practical, interactive and based on the experience of auditors.Find out more.
